2009-2010: Earth Partners presented Peace for the Earth, for our 9-11 Day of Prayer. This involved many CSJs and consociates, as well as some staff and a SJW. EP member Ann O'Neill created a brochure and large display of the CSJs and Sustainability for the WW Soul Conference. She and Karen Olson were involved in opening remarks, learning circles, and as on-site resources. Four of us attended a lecture on sustainability by Terry Gips, a local expert, at UST. We introduced Gips' Next Step Framework and our sustainability questions to Meg Gillespie at our Nov meeting. We added photos and Eco-Bios of some of our most active members to the website. We advised Carondelet Village planners of environmental issues and possibilities. We developed a list of multiple Resources for our web page. We continue to provide education and awareness through our Together articles. We are co-sponsoring a program on Water with Celeste's Dream on March 2nd that will be our Justice Night. The CSJ Earth Day will be in early May, and plants will be sought for the water garden behind the building, which is short of plants. We are currently planning a Great Green Gathering for late summer, which will be open to all, including the neighboring community around the CSJ-SCU campus. This is under the leadership of Joyce Dahlberg and Karen Olson.
