The Resident Services Assistant position is responsible for assisting and providing support to the Sisters residing at Carondelet Village in the Independent Living, Assisted Living and Care Center areas.

Qualifications:

  • High school/GED required. CAN required
  • Minimum of one year nursing assistant experience required.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office; particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, reaching, walking and standing for long periods of time.

Consociate Services Administrative Support

Carondelet Center Assistant – Host

On Call Hours – For Scheduled Events at Carondelet Center

We have a Carondelet Center Assistant – Host position available at Carondelet Center in St. Paul. This position is responsible for assisting with set-up-food/tables/chairs and receptionist duties. This position will greet and direct individuals and groups for events/meetings at Carondelet Center.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Post high school education preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience with food service preferred.
  • Must be able to work with the public
  • Ability to create a hospitable presence and welcoming atmosphere required.
  • Interest in conference and retreat facilities and a willingness to learn preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be able to speak fluent English.
  • Must be able to work independently along with anticipating the needs of the groups.

Clinical Nurse Manager – St. Mary’s Health Clinics

40 hours per week

Mission and Ministry:

The mission of St. Mary’s Health Clinics, in the tradition of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, is to carry out the healing ministry of Christ by providing needed health services to the medically underserved or uninsured.

Position Summary:

The Clinical Nurse Manager will provide ongoing assessment, coordination, supervision and support managing the clinical operations and development of St. Mary’s Health Clinics and/or related medical programs. Actively coaching and engaging staff while modeling expected behaviors and holding staff accountable. Evaluating clinic performance to identify, implement and meet quality and safety outcomes. Manages processes to improve patient, employee and provider satisfaction. Manage the clinic budget to meet objectives. Identifies and evaluates barriers to clinic success, helps craft solutions and implements improvement plans. Works to maximize the flow of information between the clinics, the volunteer staff and central office. Assists leadership in achieving coordination, consistency and efficiency of clinics and/or related medical programs. Continuously focuses on reducing non-value added tasks to improve the overall efficiencies of the clinic operation and patient centered care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Registered Nurse with current license to practice in the State of Minnesota
  • Minimum three years’ work experience in medical/surgical nursing – clinic or public health experience preferred.
  • Three-years’ experience in supervising professional and para-professional medical personnel is required
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team structure is required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills as evidenced in adaptability and a focus on strategic operations
  • Requires valid Minnesota driver’s license.
  • Demonstrates respect for diversity.
  • Awareness of psychosocial barriers that can impact lives of uninsured.
  • Embraces and supports the ministry and mission of SMHC

Through in-home support and life skill development, residents are empowered to restart their lives and find healing and hope. Sarah’s is located in the Highland Park neighborhood of St. Paul. The responsibilities of the Overnight Staff focus on security, ensuring a consistency, and a peacemaking presence in the home during nights and weekends. The Overnight Staff is accountable to both the House Manager and the Director, with primary reporting to the House Manager. Working collaboratively with residents, staff, and volunteers, as well as independently, is expected.

  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to relate with and respond to conflicts that arise with women of diverse backgrounds, language skills, and life experiences
  • Ability to communicate clearly in various ways including on the phone, in writing, and through email
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and respectful demeanor and communication style
  • Experience in hospitality, mentoring, peer mediation, or coaching others preferred
