Administrative Assistant

32 hours per week

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, a non-profit organization seeks an experienced Administrative Assistant. This role will provide skilled administrative and secretarial services, communications and hospitality services for the Province Leadership Team.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working as administrative secretary;
  • Skills: MS Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook, Caterease and FileMaker data-base manager. Word processor skills of 80-100 wpm;
  • Strong office organizational skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills (both verbal and written);
  • Ability to prioritize work and to respond to urgent requests, as the need arises;
  • Strong attention to detail; 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet
Coordinator of Ritual and Liturgy Services

20 Hour Per Week – Schedule varies depending on services/events

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet have an opening for a Coordinator of Ritual and Liturgy. The coordinator provides collaborative leadership for specific Province ritual events, including funerals of Sisters, assuring the liturgical and communication services needed. The Coordinator maintains a Ritual Advisory Council to assist the work of the position and coordinate Province ritual policy and services. The Coordinator also supervises the care of the chapel and ensures the care, storage and maintenance of ritual supplies. The Coordinator is accountable to the Province Leadership Team, reporting regularly as agreed upon. The Coordinator position is part time with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in Theology, Liturgy, religious studies or equivalency; demonstrated love of liturgy and expertise in preparation of ritual, prayer and special liturgical events.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience in administration and organizational development with a variety of individuals and groups, and diverse expressions of ritual.
  • Expertise in the use of computers, software and Internet.
  • Expertise and work experience in public relations and communications, including ability to provide effective written and verbal communication.
  • Expertise and work experience in administration, finances and personnel.
  • Self-starting expertise and work experience.

Intake Scheduling Coordinator - St. Mary's Health Clinics

80 hours/PPD

St. Mary’s Health Clinics is currently seeking a Intake Scheduling Coordinator. The role is responsible for determining patient eligibility, scheduling patient visits for all clinic sites, directing non-eligible callers to appropriate providers and assisting with Spanish interpretation at Spanish clinics as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High School graduate. Technical training in a health related field is desirable.
  • Minimum of two years experience in a medical setting as a receptionist or receptionist or patient scheduler or related area.
  • Ability to communicate with patients concerning medical problems. Microsoft suite and/or willingness to learn, problem-solving skills, flexibility and pleasant telephone manner are required.
  • Proficient verbal and written Spanish language skills as well as English required.
  • Valid MN driver’s license required.
  • Demonstrated appreciation of cultural and ethnic diversity.

Office/Volunteer Coordinator - St. Mary's Health Clinics

32 hours per week

For more than two decades St. Mary’s Health Clinics (SMHC), a ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph, has provided free primary health care to the uninsured in the seven county metropolitan area of St. Paul, Minneapolis and their surrounding suburbs.

This Office piece of the position is responsible for providing administrative support. Must be proficient in MS Office, requires experience with IT set up, trouble-shooting and support to staff. Volunteer position is responsible for coordinating the SMHC volunteer program including recruitment, training, placement, scheduling, retention, recognition and tracking. Develop and maintain internal and external relationships.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field. Minimum of two years of related experience. Must be comfortable leading and coordinating volunteer team projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Valid/current driver’s license.
