Immigration Working group

The Immigration Working Group educates and advocates individually and as a community for systemic change, and addresses the immediate needs of immigrant communities, locally and nationally. 

Prayer Vigils

On the second Tuesday of every month at 7:30am, the CSJ Immigration Working Group joins together with Interfaith Coalition on Immigration (ICOM) for prayers at the Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis. This coalition of faith communities gathers monthly to stand in solidarity with and pray for immigrants facing their deportation hearings at the Federal building, for the nearly 100 undocumented migrants in detention in Minnesota, for the 20,000 migrants in detention at our southern border and for the tens of thousands of additional migrants waiting in Mexico.
