Sr. Rosalind Sees Massage Therapy as Healing Ministry

Those watching the documentary The Saint of Second Chances on Netflix will see a short segment on Sr. Rosalind Gefre, showing how she gave massages at the St. Paul Saints minor league baseball games. The film documents Mike Veeck who co-owns the Saint Paul Saints. From the mid-1990s to 2020, one of their most popular game promotions was free massages from Sr. Rosalind.

Food Security for Our Community

A recent survey of students from St. Catherine, Augsburg, and Hamline Universities revealed that fully 69% of respondents were “food insecure,” defined as the lack of consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy life.
