Our spirituality animates us to make visible God’s great love in and for the world. Spirituality makes us more loving as we move always toward the profound love of God and neighbor without distinction.

CSJ’s spirituality is rooted in our fidelity to community, prayer, and spiritual disciplines that call us to respond to the needs and realities of today’s world. Much like the early Sisters of St. Joseph, we come together regularly to share insights and graces we experience in prayer and ministry.

Spiritual Direction

Spiritual Direction nurtures a deeper relationship with the divine. Persons seeking direction share stories of how they are experiencing spiritual issues. The practice of spiritual direction dates back centuries to when people sought the wisdom of the desert mystics.

To celebrate the 375th anniversary of the founding of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Sisters, Consociates, Agregées, St. Joseph Worker Community, Friends, and Partners in Mission submitted reflections, prayers, poems, and art in a collection called Community Wisdom.
